Hired!

Knowing who or what you are going to face is a very smart move, this means an applicant needs to know about the company, the nature of the business and some pertinent information that would come in handy during the interview. Next, applicants should be prompt, arrive at least 15 minutes before the appointment and learn a little something about the interviewer.  An applicant also has to be cordial to everybody inside the office. It is also necessary to bring an extra copy of the resume or portfolio in case the interviewer asks for another one.

Applicants should also be confident and professional during the interview.

Sell Yourself

With the very tough competition out there, landing one’s dream job can all depend on one’s job interview. Ideally a job interview only lasts for a couple of minutes and during these grueling few minutes is where you sell yourself to your future employer. Arriving a few minutes before the call time is much better for an applicant to get the feel of the place and to get rid of some of the nerves.

Part of selling yourself is also looking confident, an applicant has to speak professionally and be able to let the employer know of one’s skills and previous work experience to let them know that you are perfect for the job.
