1. To be viewed as a resource for Asian American young professionals new to the city
- by serving as orientation aides for working professionals and international graduate students
- by maintaining an "Asian Guide to Pittsburgh" - restaurant reviews, entertainment ratings, etc...
2. To bring together the existing Asian American community already here in Pittsburgh
- by helping preserve family and institutional ties that have kept our cultures alive in this city
- by providing common ground for Asian Americans scattered across the city to come together
3. To establish a social and business network for all Asian American young professionals
- by hosting singles social outings, casual family get togethers, as well as formal black-tie events
- by putting online the "Who's Who in the Asian American Young Professional Community"
4. To share, rediscover, and appreciate our cultural heritage
- by participating in various cultural celebrations and enjoying fine Asian cuisine
- by learning more about our own roots and sharing experiences growing up Asian American
5. To build awareness and understanding of current affairs affecting Asian Americans
- by posting editorial content online that is designed to encourage group discussion offline
- by collaborating with other Asian organizations on societal and politically relevant issues
